In the past few years there has been an overwhelming number of allegations of people being sexually abused or exploited by their employers, much of them very recent. So I don't really understand why I as a viewer I should be shocked and outraged and immediately in denial that something like this could have happened. Besides, where is the statement from FBI about how they are dissapointed they are portrayed as a grossly unprofessional meat heads? p.s. I somewhat lose respect for them when actors make retroactive claims they did not agree with the movie or the director or whatever, and are actually on the same side with their critics. I mean, you could just chose not to do it (I believe the script for RJ was quite straightforward) or else all you had to say was that you needed this paychek - this would be way more understandable.

Dirigida por Clint Eastwood, la película se propone contar, desde el punto de vista de la presunta parte culpable, la historia real de un guardia de seguridad que descubrió un paquete sospechoso durante los Juegos Olímpicos de Atlanta de 1996. The movie is a typical Hollywood/Clint Eastwood drama with the version of truth be told by eyes of the beholder. in this case the Director. The acting is superbly done by all actors involved. The technical is average. The storytelling is predictable and one dimensional.
Clint Eastwood is (and has been) well-known for bending the truth, mixing facts and fictions in order to better dramatize his movies (think of Flags of Our Fathers, Letters from Iwo Jima, J. Edgar, Sully, American Sniper, etc. artistic license they call it in the business. It's okay if the movies are not labeled as a "True Story" based on "Facts. In this movie, Clint makes it like a true story... some sort of documentary, but the facts and the truths are far from it, especially when it comes to Kathy Scruggs. In making a film to vindicate and clear the name of one victim (Richard Jewell) he unnecessarily vilifies and throws another under the bus (Kathy Scruggs. and that make his movie harder to believe and even harder to watch.
